Free Passive Income & Infinite Banking Masterclass: The Blue Box Strategy

Free live masterclass, Tuesday, October 20th, 2026 at 7:00pm ET (every Tuesday, 60 minutes, replay included). For high-income professionals and business owners making $200,000+ a year. Russ Morgan and Joey Mure, who have built 40+ whole life policies and a portfolio making over $50,000 a month in passive income, walk you through the one system the banks use every day: the Blue Box Strategy. Same income, same paycheck, same expenses, a different system.

Financial freedom, defined

Financial freedom is the day your passive income is greater than your monthly expenses. Not a number on a retirement statement decades away, but a number you can engineer on purpose, starting now, with the money you already have.

The 5 structural failures in most money systems

  • The One-Account Trap: every dollar lands in one checking account.
  • The Money Trap: storing capital in places that neither produce passive income nor lower a monthly expense today.
  • The Pay-Cash Mistake: saving up, paying cash and starting back at zero kills compounding.
  • Doing as banks say, not as they do: banks hold large amounts of cash value life insurance.
  • The Missing Mechanism: no named, ownable system. The Passive Income Operating System is that mechanism.

Who teaches it: Russ Morgan & Joey Mure

Russ Morgan and Joey Mure founded Wealth Without Wall Street and host the Wealth Without Wall Street podcast (1.6M+ downloads). Russ became a financial advisor in 2004 and earned the CFP designation before walking away from Wall Street-style planning after 2008. Joey spent eleven years in mortgages. In 2009 they found R. Nelson Nash's book Becoming Your Own Banker, were mentored directly by Nelson Nash, and rebuilt their financial lives around the Infinite Banking Concept. Today they have 40+ whole life policies between them and over $50,000 a month in passive income from land, rentals and businesses funded by recycling the same dollars through their policies.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is infinite banking?

Infinite banking, or the Infinite Banking Concept (IBC), was created by R. Nelson Nash and laid out in his book Becoming Your Own Banker. Instead of keeping your money in a bank and borrowing from one when you need capital, you build cash value inside a properly designed, dividend-paying whole life insurance policy and use it as your own private banking system. You borrow against that cash value to pay for big purchases or fund investments, then repay the loan on your terms. People also call it becoming your own banker or being your own bank. Russ and Joey were mentored by Nelson Nash and have built their own finances around it since 2009.

How does whole life insurance work as a personal banking system?

Whole life insurance is permanent life insurance. Along with the death benefit, it builds cash value that grows on a guaranteed basis, and policies from mutual insurance companies may also pay dividends (dividends are not guaranteed). When a policy is designed for cash value, usually with a paid-up additions rider, more of each premium goes to work as cash value. You can take a policy loan against that cash value for any reason without a credit check. The insurer uses your cash value as collateral, so the cash value keeps growing while the loan is outstanding. Policy loans accrue interest, and any unpaid loan reduces the death benefit.

What is the Blue Box Strategy?

Most people keep their savings in a Red Box: 401(k)s, IRAs, pensions, 529s and home equity. That money is sheltered, but you can't touch it without penalties or hoops, so it works for the institution. A Blue Box gives you the same protection and keeps compounding without tax drag, but it's accessible right now to deploy into real-world, cash-flowing assets that produce passive income today. In the masterclass, Russ and Joey show how a cash-value whole life policy becomes that Blue Box, so the same dollar can work in two places at once.

Can you invest with whole life insurance?

The policy itself isn't meant to be your high-return investment. It's where you store and grow capital. The strategy is to borrow against your cash value to fund cash-flowing investments like real estate, land, private lending or a business, then use the cash flow from those assets to repay the policy loan. That lets you recycle the same dollars into the next deal instead of saving up, paying cash and starting back at zero. Russ and Joey built a land business this way: roughly $704K deployed, now producing about $38,000 a month in recurring cash flow.

Why do banks own so much cash value life insurance?

Banks use cash value life insurance as a safe, steadily growing place to store capital. When Russ and Joey pulled the balance sheet of a major U.S. bank back in 2009, it held nearly double the cash value life insurance that it held in real estate. Infinite banking applies the same idea to your household: do as banks do, not as they say.

How is infinite banking different from a 401(k), the stock market or a savings account?

The masterclass puts every account through two tests: does it produce passive income today, and does it lower a monthly expense today? A 401(k) or IRA can grow, but it's generally locked up until retirement age, with penalties for early access. Stocks and crypto swing with the market. A savings account is accessible but earns very little. A well-designed whole life policy aims to combine protection, steady growth and access to your capital, so you can use your money now instead of waiting until 59½.

Is infinite banking legit, or is it a scam?

Infinite banking uses ordinary, state-regulated whole life insurance from long-established mutual insurance companies. There's nothing exotic about the policy itself. People get burned by poor policy design or unrealistic promises. It isn't a get-rich-quick plan: cash value is usually lower than the premiums paid in the early years, it works best as a long-term commitment, and policy loans accrue interest. That's why the masterclass shows real numbers, including Russ and Joey's own 40+ policies. Their oldest, opened in 2010, holds nearly $296,000 in cash value today.

What is the Passive Income Operating System?

The Passive Income Operating System (PIOS) is the framework Russ and Joey teach for reaching financial freedom, defined as the day your passive income is greater than your monthly expenses. It organizes where your money is stored (the Blue Box), how it's deployed into cash-flowing assets, and how those dollars get recycled, so your money works as hard as you do. It's the system behind their own $50,000+ a month in passive income.
